MNA to host leading businesses from Black Country Chamber

The MNA will spearhead a number of Black Country Chamber of Commerce events being held next week to further business growth in the region.

Colleagues from MNA Digital will be sharing their skills and knowledge with attendees at a free workshop on Tuesday (Oct 8) at Casino 36 in Wolverhampton.

The focus will be upon helping businesses using Google Ads to increase sales.

Fresh from last week’s Shropshire workshop for businesses, Matt Fowell, head of PPC (pay-per-click) for MNA Digital, will share his extensive skills and best practice for managing effective paid search advertising.

Then the following day (Wed Oct 9), Martin Wright, MNA editor-in-chief, will host a session for sharing best practice among directors, managers and business leaders.

Members of the Platinum Group will join Martin and Chris Leggett, director of marketing and communications, for the forum being held in the boardroom at the Express & Star offices.

The event will focus on the importance of trusted news sources in the digital age.

The Chamber preview says: “The Chamber meeting will provide a rare opportunity to hear first-hand from editor-in-chief Martin Wright about why news brands remain important to local readers and how his team of journalists continue to focus on delivering trusted editorial in the age of ‘fake news’.”

Chris Leggett said: “As always the MNA is only too happy to support business leaders in the area.

“We have been actively working with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce on a number of events all aimed at upskilling and strengthening business owners and leaders in the region.

“The MNA is a member of the Platinum Group, a vibrant organisation of influential leaders and directors from throughout the Black Country.

“We are delighted to be hosting a session aimed at sharing best practice and forging a way ahead for business.”

Next week’s digital workshop at Wolverhampton’s Casino 36 is open to both Chamber members and non-members.
