Marketing workshop allows businesses to get online tips from MNA Digital

Digital marketing experts have been sharing their knowledge with business leaders from around the region in a bid to increase understanding and awareness of the benefits of this discipline.

The team from the Wolverhampton-based MNA Digital has already successfully launched a series of free workshops that have been well attended by businesses from Shropshire and the Black Country.

To further tailor its advice, the team recently held a more intimate, digital breakfast meeting where experts were able to offer more specific pointers and ideas to those who needed it. Topics covered included creating an effective social presence, using SEO and Adwords correctly, utilising resources accordingly, and attendees were able to ask one-to-one questions.

The session, on Thursday 8th August, was led by Matthew Fowell, head of the paid search at MNA Digital. Matthew also speaks about digital marketing at events nationally and is affiliated with Enterprise Nation, as well as being a Prince’s Trust mentor.

Event organiser Natalie Coughlan, digital sales campaign manager for MNA Digital, said with a topic as broad as digital marketing it can be hard to answer everyone’s specific queries so the smaller event was launched to offer more tailored support.

She said: “We have a great deal of experience and knowledge within our team and we are very much enjoying working with our local business community to further their marketing skills, and ultimately revenue.

“Feedback from the smaller, more tailored event has been positive and we are delighted that attendees leave us with a better understanding of how to make an impression online.

“These intimate digital marketing clinics will be a feature of our training programme going forward. They complement the wider, more high-level workshops we have already started.”

MNA Digital’s next event will focus on paid search, specifically Google Adwords, and will be held at Hadley Park Hotel in Telford on Thursday 26th September. MNA Digital will host another paid search event in partnership with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday 8th October, at Casino 36 in Wolverhampton.
